71 Gull Wing Install Need help

Finally received my new 71 gull wing, Its the last part needed before I send the car for paint.!!!!
Oh ya I bought the wing from Logitech or Josh's Muscle Car Parts off Ebay
I have a few questions about the install, are the mounting locations the same for the 70 and 71 wings?
I instructions I'm using is from this web site  http://www.jonsteiger.com/www/barracuda/GO_WING/

Second question is I purchased the under deck lid brackets from the same guy and for some reason they do not fit my new deck lid?
I have two different cut outs on my two deck lids, I do not know which one is correct
I tried to fit the brackets on my old deck lid and they seem to fit better, the problem is the bracket would be in the wrong spot for the studs from the wing.

Do I have the wrong brackets or the wrong cut out in the deck lid??

Thanks that help me out alot!!!!
The dimensions on your sheet shows 5 7/16" for a 70 barracuda but on the web site shows 5 5/8" ?
I'm glad I didn't drill last night because I was using the 5 5/8" dimensions when it should be over 8" from the rear edge for the 71 wing!

I still a bit confused about my two deck lids, my oringal deck is a 74 barracuda with one cut out and my new one looks to be a 70 barracuda with cut outs for the 70 wing not a 71 wing

Does any body have pictures of the two different deck lids on the under side??

I think I figured it out
I have a  1970 deck lid with cut outs
             1971 under deck lid Brackets
             1971 Wing

Unfortionaly these parts will not go together, I think I will have to cut out the area for the 71 brackets and fabricate some new brackets
