Where's the best place to buy a engine???
« on: October 22, 2005 - 01:09:22 PM »
It's me again.I'm looking into putting a 360 in my 68 Cuda.I have the 318 out of it and I'm still going to build it up for a back up.I'm still in Iraq for another 3 months (the army) and I'm trying to get all the parts ready for me when I get home.I want to build the engine myself. What's the point of a project car if you don't do the work yourself?? So a crate engine is out of the question. The only contact I have with the states is the internet. Is there a good web site I can go to buy a block???Anyone have a block or engine for sale???

I would have to look into it but I doubt it would be worth it to ship a 360 across North America , the shipping would not be worthwhile for just a 360

Kansas is a great place to pick up mopar parts!!

Just hit the local ads in the paper ect. Try to get a '71 block on a 360. They seem to have thicker walls
