Heavy #2 guage primary cable and #8 guage secondary cable with copper ends(prevents dielectric corrosion) covered with shrinkwrap and taped with cloth electrical tape and cut, fit, and assembled to fit in the stock locations. There's no need to alter the starter leads to use a mini-starter. These are NOT factory correct reproductions, but they do look right at home under the hood.
