« on: October 24, 2005 - 03:26:35 PM »
some time deep in the past I seem to remeber being able  to use rotors and claipers form some other mopars if you used the caliper mounting bracket
with the whole set up. does this ring a bell to anyone ? how about front drums ? 11 inch drums work from other then A and B bodys ?
!0 inch ?

If you are speaking about the front end only, I have disc brakes from a mid-70's A-body on my car. I strongly believe the spindles will need to be changed too. The good news is drum brake lines from a 70 Challenger fit quite nicely into the A-Body disc brake calipers.

there is a ton of myth & rumor , & I don`t feel right about suggesting swaps that could cause a problem , BUT 70-72 B body discs & 73 -75 A bdoy discs will swap with no problem , you Must swap the spindle to do this
Ehrenberg has a swap documented as well using B/E body spindle & using 75-78 rotors & caliper adapters to increase the rotor size by 1 " to almost 12" But 15 wheels Have to be used to do this swap
