Challenger questions part 2: brakes
« on: November 03, 2005 - 08:15:00 PM »
heres part 2, (first one was in tranny)

the brakes on our challenger sreech when slowing down at low speeds, sometimes even painfuloly so, and the car seems to decelerate un-evenly, jerking slightly.

is this just part of the car? or do the brakes need looking at?

the rotors could be warped or rusty , also ther drums could be out of round & cause the pulsing/ jerking , the pads are hardened & causing the squeeling
