Eastwood Powdercoating system, has anyone used it??
« on: November 17, 2005 - 04:10:32 PM »
I have spent plenty having a powdercoater do much of my suspension.   I have other things like spindles,  rear spring front housings and other parts that need coating.   Has anyone tried this Eastwood system?    Were you satisified with it?

I'm interested too...  How much are you into the powdercoater for so far, $$$-wise?

The Larry Lyles book "Project Charger", about restoring a 1970 Charger, has a lot of info on this system, which he uses with a second-hand kitchen oven that he bought for $50.  He has a lot of tips about pre-treating and cleaning old parts before coating....  and a great read with lots of good resto tips anyway...

I want to get this rig too, but where do I put the oven??  Grrrrr..  need bigger garage....
