Insurance question

It seems that a lot of classic/collectible car ownres are insured through Grundy. The premiums are reasonable. The question is: Has any of you had to file a claim with Grundy, and if so, how was the service. Thanks........Oldschool

I'm insured thru them. I think they are reasonable, and my rate hasn't budged in the 5 years I've had my car. There is someone here who had a claim and said they were slow to deal with... sorry I can't remember who.

Thanks Mike. Maybe the claimant will see this and respond. Hopefully none of us will need the services of the insurer....Oldschool

I have heard excellent things about Hagerty Insurance. I know a few people who have made claims and they are quick and in most cases will let you have the entire car repainted if you have been hit.

I USED to have grundy they couldn't even get my address changed when I moved. When I bought my second car they told me it was added to the policy on several occasions and a month later still no paperwork. Come to find out it was never added. IT'S your car, but if it was mine I wouldn't use them. I now use Hagerty and know someone who was unfortunate and hit a deer a few years ago. They tood care of him right away.
