« on: November 16, 2005 - 11:23:59 AM »
I asked a similiar question last week, but this is a different car. I found a 1970 cuda this time with a 318 installed (last week it was a 6 cylinder) will my 440 install in this car or do I need a different K member? Thanks for the expertise!!!

that is the great thing about Mopars, any of their engines will go into any of their cars without serious modifications..  I believe the K-member needs changed (someone can help me out with that) does it have a 8 3/4  rear end now? if not you might want to change that as well since you are going from a 318 to a 440.

all V8 engines except the hemi use the same K frame so no the K does not need to be changed
