slight wot bog
« on: January 01, 2006 - 03:38:59 PM »
I changed intakes, took my torker 440 off and put on a holley street dominator, nothing else was changed but I picked up a very slight bog at wot, ever so slight. Now it is a eddy 750 but it is new and ran fine, no bog,on the toker 440. I did help it some by ,I think, plugging the vacum advance, adusting the carb again. Checked for leaks around the carb and intake, none found. Any ideas?   Dennis

wot at what RPM ?
you may have a larger vacuum drop & need a slightly larger squriter to cover the bog if it is at low RPM

Chryco, its at a standing start or any time you give it full peddle. Just a short split second pause.

Sounds like it needs more fuel on throttle tip-in.  As Chryco says,  bigger squirter, longer duration squirt should fix ya right up.   :cooldancing:   ......Oldschool
