They were only available with a 440

No.  When the first came out, in 67, they came standard with the 440, with the HEMI as an option.  It stayed the same, untill 1970, when they added the 440-6.

74 Mopar - I thought I had responded to yoir question on the Wurlitzer 1015 bubbler but maybe I just THOUGHT I did. Anyway, a restored 1015 bubbler can be had for $4K to $10K depending on the quality of the restoration. They have actually come down in value over the last 10 years or so. Wurlitzer made 56,000 of them back in 1947 - quite a feat I would say.

here's a pic of my restored 1015
72' Cuda restomod
70 Mustang Mach 1
07' Toyota Tacoma Prerunner Dbl cab in Speedway Blue!
01' Honda 1100 Shadow Sabre
96' Seadoo Challenger
