So, I heard they were using your car in the third version of Vanishing Point lol. Looks great dude. I wanted a car like yours so bad but, had to settle for what I have now.

Hey NZ-  your pics are like visual candy.... Sweet!  I love the detail work being done-- you are gonna give all the Vanishing Point wannabies a run for the money....

hmmmmm....

A run for the money....
          Two for the show...
Three to get ready now go Lucy go!

LOL!!! Thanks Red, you always find some way interesting and funny to post. Yeah, Vanishing Point is great but this was not suppose to be a "cllone" or replica I just love me white cars. Suprisingly enough, you don't see that many white 70 Challengers.

Thanks Red!!

dak - Don't worry mate everyone has there baby. Thanks for the comment bud. :-)

LOL!  That would be cool!

Actually, so far as the pictures I've seen, I think Lucy looks better than the Challenger in second version of Vanishing Point.  I remember seeing that DVD and saying to myself that the car looked like it could've used a little more finishing.  The car could've used bigger tires, nicer exhaust note, and the exhaust tips didn't protrude from the rear valence right, they were hanging down too low and I think one was crooked.  Also they needed more aggressive driving scenes.  They drove that car like it had a slant 6.  Lucy looks great and mean looking too!

The Chalenger in the original Vanishing point is the original and hard to improve upon it.

Actually, all except one car was decent in that movie. Most of them were weathered pretty good from what I read. And yes, I'm suprised they drove it as easy as they did.

NICE!!!!! Your 'Cuda looks fantastic mate, where basically at the same stage in our restos!! lol

How long have you been doing your restoration for? Where did you get your panels from and how long do you have to wait?

Cheers,
Carl

Hi Carl, I've been working on my restoration in my spare time for a little over 4 years. My interior panels are coming from Hardens Muscle car world and I have been waiting on them for  2 months. I called and they thought I would receive them in the next couple weeks. My restoration has been done in a 2 car garage with 90 percent of the work being done by myself with help from my wife and 12 year old son. I love your car and the white looks great. My other car is also a Challenger mine being a 71 RT 340 painted its factory color Lite Gunmetal Metalic. Good luck getting your Challenger done and I hope you have as much fun with yours as I do with mine.
