Anyone else miss MotorCity Online?
« on: December 14, 2005 - 09:32:00 AM »
That was the greatest game to ever come out. I had amassed an incredible amout of cars on the game including many convertible Hemi Cudas. Too bad they stopped it. Anyone else here miss it or play there? It'd sure be great if they brought it back.  :walkaway:

I played it for a couple months when it 1st came out. There were a lot of bugs I thought. I got in to it really early...weren't too many people online at the time.

It was a good idea though. I would like to see a more modern version with better graphics and game play.

I miss it too. Got in a late though. Too bad they don't have anything like that now.

They seemed to improve the game with the updates. I liked the fact that you could change just about anything on the cars. There were about 60 different tires types and sizes, different blocks, different heads, different pistons...you name it, you could change it. Even different leaf sprongs for the front and rear suspensions. There were tons of cars to choose from. Special paints, rims, and even chop tops or convertibles. They stopped supporting the game so they could use their resources to come out with the SimCity games.

I LOVED THAT GAME!! I had it for about a year and a half. I wasnt too happy that they took it off the server, it was getting better the longer it was out. THey had a good collection of cars, i had a road runner, cuda, charger, i think a challenger, and maybe one more, but cant remember what it was. Its been about 2 1/2 years since that has been gone. I wish it would come back.
