Thanks for the support. First answer 89 FXLR custom. And for the big empty space(there are a lot on this project) A HEMI would be my only choice due to the fact it was a plain jane 318 car. If it were a 340, or other performance motor i would have gone original drive train.  As you can imagine filing that space will be far down the line.

Yes, it's completely worthless.  So you just better give it to me, so it doesn't take up anymore space in that garage.

Hobo, though it looks like a handful now (who's kidding, it is), taking a couple years to fix this '71 back into shape will definitely be worth it!!!! :bigthumb:  :grinyes:  A '71 Hemi 'Cuda clone is probably one of the coolest 'Cudas out there because unlike an original 426 Hemi 'Cuda convert., you can drive the he11 out of it and not think twice about it. :burnout: :burnout:  Keep us posted with your progress and let us know how things go.

John,

I bought this from my brother after it sat for many years.  Yours will be worth a lot more than mine.  Being a Cuda convertable  :wow:
I know it doesn't look all that great but it has a very good frame.  It was a 383 4 speed with air.
