A518 46RH wanted :)
« on: June 25, 2011 - 12:09:31 AM »
Figure I'd jump in and see what bites...

Seriously looking to do the 727 to A518-OD swap if I can find a reasonable deal on a tranny.
I prefer the 46RH to the RE.

I'm in So. Cal

Thanks guys

Got mine at the local Pick and Pull. I see them all the time but you have to be ready to pull it as soon as you find it or it's gone. I've gotten both the lockup (3pin) and non-lockup(2pin) versions, One for les that $100, the other less than $50.     If you can't find one, try www.car-part.com.  Make sure you ask if the top connector has the 2 of 3 pin connector above the neutral start switch.  I think 95 was the last year, they came in vans too.

Thanks SD...  I appreciate the identification info.  I plan to head out to the local pick a part(s) to see what's there.  unfortunately I'm competing with all the rebuilders in LA...
