need help !!! - how to remove corrugated cylinder ????

...from the steering column on my 74 Cuda?  I've removed the nut, but the cylinder is pressed onto the splined steering wheel shaft.

You need to use a steering wheel puller.  Just like a pully puller.

You will need one of those small steering wheel removers that you find at auto parts stores. It will need to be small enough to fit down in the can. Sometimes you have to grind the ends of the puller to fit.

you can use a normal puller too If you use 6" bolts & a longer center bolt in the puller
