Hey gang..
Does anyone reproduce the e-body space-savers? I have someone trying to find a spare for their '70 Challenger TA....  Or, is it the old-fashion way, find a used one..............

I don't think that they make a repo, but I have been wrong before.  I have seen a few on ebay but they go for way more than you would think.  I would just keep an eye out at swap meets and maybe even trunks of old cars in the fields.

The ONLY correct space saver will be a B.F. Goodrich.I've seen guys sell the 77-78 Volare Goodyear space saver on Ebay and saying it is for ebody's and this is incorrect.Early model types 69-70 production will have old numerical tire size 7.25-14 or later which will be your letter sizes E,F,G.78-14.Hemi's should all be 15's and are extremely rare.Vin for this is on inside of rim.Vin will be on outside of the rim by valve on the Goodyear type.

Aloha you are right in ballpark. They are hard to come by.I find more Ford than mopars.I got 1 chevrolet 15" left out of a 70's Camaro. They all were chucked back then or layed in a garage and junked. Most guys get the Goodyear cause the rubber is usually nicer but incorrect.Or a Ford to have the B.F. Goodrich tread but wrong center.Fords have a bigger center.Hope I shed some light on this.

What about the Space Savers from AMC ?  I think that's what I have laying around.  I'm sure the markings won't be correct, but it still looks good and was cheap.
