:burnout:  I voted for the supercharged 340, you pull up next to that, you know you are up against something built and not try it,  but you may test the one you don't know. In reality, probably wouldn't matter, just try it and if you get smoked, you know he was running a big block!! LOL  :woohoo:

This is a great topic.  My 70 challenger conv 340-6pak is still in MI waiting for a ride to Biloxi, MS. After much research, I am still somewhat undecided in building the 440-6 or stroking the 340 supercharging would be nice.  Not to be dumb, but are there any low profile superchargers or do they not fit under the hood?

Thanx Joel

Welcome Cudabuyer, hope you are enjoying the best Mopar site on the web!  :grinyes:  As far as your question about the supercharger, I'm not sure, I believe they make some that are less conspicuous that are tucked down in  the engine compartment. I was just funning around using the 340 as a paper weight, I just love the cubes but there's nothing wrong with a high reving killer 340, a stroked high reving 340 is even deadlier!!!
