How do they look
« on: November 30, 2005 - 06:34:31 PM »
Just wondering how the pic's I post look on your computer. I happened to be at a friends house and showed him this site and when I saw the pic's I posted they looked kind of light or washed out. They looked great on my computer. I do adjust them though. When I download them from my camera they are usually very dark so I adjust them till they look good. But now I was just wondering what they look like on other computers. Here is one so please tell me if it looks ok or is light..
Thanks,
JS27

js27  -   one thing I would suggest is use a standard when first on a new or unknown monitor -- like those found here  http://www.nies.ch/tech/monitor.en.php  or the ones ive attached below.   look at these images on whatever monitor you are going to adjust pictures on.  Set up the monitor so the blacks are just lower than visible and the white is 100% and not overdrived.  you can use color saturation to find out how the monitor is handling standards.
