S/E emblem mounting
« on: November 30, 2005 - 05:10:41 PM »
Rev, I'm sure you can tell me what holds 'em on. Mine are old and the red/white/blue is basically gone.
Thinking about touching up the colors. Do they lift up and off or ?
Is they're info on proper colors?

There is a nut on the back that you can access from removing the sail panel. There is also a style that has a screw from the front, with a cap over it....

Yep...what he said.  I thought about redoing ours, but bought repros instead.

The emblems are on the car now. One feels a little fragile/loose...maybe I should leave 'em alone..?

You have to remove the sail panels to get the nuts off and to be able to squeeze the tabs together to get them off.

Thanks for the info. That SE headliner looks a little intimidating to voluntarily mess with
I'll concentrate on things that really need to be done elsewhere on the car first.
