Chryco I was reading a post on someone engine and you favored a high pressure oil pump instead of high volume  Just curios why it is a better choice thanks justin

the high volume pumps have pumped to much that it starved of oil(all the oil reserve is up in the top).. that floods the valves...

Also puts more stress on the oil drive

with a stock pan on a long pull you can take out main or rod brgs due to starvation , with a 12 qt pan I doubt there would be a problem , I ran mine for ten years at 7200 RPM with a HV & a 12 qt pan
