Thanks Chryco I was just curious,I have new respect for the lil 340 after tearing apart the shortblock i just got.I have torn apart many RB'S and BB'S but not a 340.I was impressed with the factory windage tray and the double roller timing chain, was this the only Chrysler engine with those parts from the factory?Did the hemi have a windage tray?I dont remember ever seeing an RB or BB with them but could be wrong

any HP engine should have a windage tray from the factory , even the later E58 police 360 should have both the windage tray & double roller timing cahin

All Magnum or Commando(HP) engines had windage trays and double roller timing chains.
