My Challenger Needs A Ride
« on: December 12, 2005 - 04:54:23 PM »
My challenger is stuck in Canton, Michigan at Reliable Carriers, and it needs a ride to Biloxi, MS.  I will pay $1000.00 for delivery.   I have been waiting for my car for a month and they keep telling me they don't have a driver.  Go Figure.

I used McNutt Auto Transporters. They had a very good delivery fee and were quick about getting my car to me. I contacted them on Friday about noon and  I got a call from the guy that sold me the Challenger about 10:00am on saturday, he told me that my car had just left on the truck, I got a call from the driver on sunday afternoon and I met him monday morning at 9:00 am to get my car. My car was in Fargo  North Dakota and it was delivered to Johnson City Tennessee a distance of around 1300 to 1400 miles. I was well pleased and the driver after he unloaded the car stayed to help me secure it to my trailer. He picked my car up at the sellers home and would have delivered it to my house  but I arranged to meet him where it would be better to get his truck back to the interstate.

Good luck , I hope you and your Mopar are soon reunited. Just remember that when you get it we would love to see pics. For some odd reason here we really really like pics because  :useless:

Not getting A car to boluxi seems odd to me. The insurance companies in the hurricane zone have so many cars too move that Safeco is starting to auction them off in large lots! (Currently 281 at a crack...wow, never seen that and I've been in biz since '84) Anyway I've had problems at times cause nobody wants to deadhead (hall sailboat fuel on the return trip). But I knowfor a fact it be easy too come back loaded...go figure? :dunno: :dunno:

Does anyone live like in Birmingham, AL,; Atlanta I think, or somewhere near that maybe they can drop off the car & I will either pay for the rest of the ride or I will be able to come & retrieve?

I have already purchased a bunch of mopar accessories so I have new floor mats, pistol grip key chain, new clock, passenger mirror, remote trunk release, new 4 speed conversion & I am finalizing a 440 engine build

Sure would be nice to see what my car looks like wearing all this "new" stuff.

I guess I can arrange this stuff in my garage and sit in the middle of it & pretend I am hauling a--- down the road & everybody is envying a Fine A---- Ride :pullinghair:
