wow, I never knew there was special clothes for winter. I figured you guys just wore jackets and long johns. We don't have anything like that out here. Most of the time kids wear shorts, but when it gets cold they start wearing pants. For about two weeks in January, MAYBE the kids will wear a windbreaker of some sort. That must be really tough to go through that. Funny thing is...my wife wants to move to Vermont or somewhere like that where they have snow. I don't think she really knows what she's asking for. Apparently we would not know how to dress out there.
Man, wouldn't it be a beautiful thing to NOT know that there were special clothes for winter?? :clapping:

Coming from southern Arizona, I didn't really know about the white crap either, until we moved to Salt Lake City when I was 13. The first couple years were like... :woo: ...after that it got progressively worse, to the point where I absolutely can't stand it! :hyper:
Why do I stay here?? Mostly because of family, but one year I'm gonna make it back.

:woo: <----- I LOVE This Smiley! hahaha

But, I feel your pain.. I moved to Alaska when I was 9 and I've been here since. Am 24 now and have attempted to move out a few times since I was 18 but I kept havin to come back. I am SO SICK of the snow It's rediculous. The cold, the wind, the changing of temperatures all winter from -20 (or lower) to 40+ degrees..melting dirty crappy snow, then dumping 2-3 feet suddenly. It's just crap. It's driving me nuts! :pullinghair:

But, the summers are hard to beat. Almost a constant 70-75 degrees out, clear skies, no wind, beautiful mountains and forests and a wonderful drive anywhere you go (Except in Anchorage). However, that only accounts for 4 months of the year.

So I must say... Get me out of here!!  :1zhelp:
