Wow, I never thought the International Smart Car Tipping League (ISCTL) would be so popular. We have the following teams already signed up. 1.) Calgary Car Flippers 2.) Edmonton Chumps 3.) Vancouver Storm 4.) Calgary Smarts 5.) Toronto Smog 6.) California Esuvees 7.) New York Jacks 8.) Las Vegas Gamblers Because this is a start up backyard league with limited funds. We will not have away games for any team until we hit the playoffs. Standings and "games" will be played in the following format. Each match will have a specific time / time limit. Time limit is set to two hours Start times will be given to each team captain 24 hours before the match starts but WILL NOT be published publically Each team must consist of a minimum 3 players and a maximum of 5 players. One player from each team will be designated as the official recorder The official recorder must video tape each tip in order for it to be eligable for points All tapes must include the date / time stamp and must be submitted electronically within 30 minutes of the event close. Scoring is as follows; 1 point awarded for each smart tipped. Up to 5 bonus points per smart to be awarded based on "style" in the tip. Additional bonus points are awarded for what is known as a "dominoe tip". A Dominoe Tip is when one smart is used to topped other smarts. Points can be doubled or tripled by tipping more than one smart at a time. For example, tip two at once and earn double points, tip 3 and triple, etc... Style points do not effect a teams score. Teams are rated on both points and style. There will be chapionships based on both points and style. In the event of a tie, style points are used as a tie breaker. In the event of a style tie, a tip off will be arranged. As the league grows and as we secure corporate sponsorship we will improve the rules and perhaps look into making this a pay per view event.
