Hi and welcome to the site. Your ride looks great even if they never made one. Sounds like a good running 360 to cruise or have fun in.

Your electrical problem might be due to a weak alternator.  I currenlty have the same problem.

Hey thanks for all the well wishes everyone.  The cars in really good shape except for a couple small things.  I got a ding from a big SUV in a parking lot and he put three semi-circular cracks in the fiberglass corner panel.  Right through the stripe too, so it wil be a real job fixing it.

As for it never being built, I got the car from a guy who dressed it up like an AAR, which is alright I guess.  Seeing as its not a numbers matching car I figured it would be allright to spruce up the engine.  It's a daily driver so cruising is a balst and the engine is SWEET.  I hope to re-do the car ina couple years.  Maybe back to a more stock looking '73 or maybe a more modern paint and wheel job.  I'm in the middle on the whole modernization thing.  I certainly think upgrading the systems with new trannies and engines and brakes and the like is a good thing if your car isn't all original to start, but some of these big wheels and hood scoops are waaaayyyyy out of proportion.  Any thoughts?
  Merry Christmas!

Steve
