You have to understand that those cars had a team of engineers changing things all the time. One of the most changes done were those hoods. That scoop design in that pic is just one of many. The Mopar chassis book has a "stick figure" drawing of it but it's not much help.

The best you could do is duplicate it though pictures, make a diagram and get busy with the sheet metal brake and rollers. Then you might see another pic of the car with a different design that you like better.  :pullinghair:

The last thing about those guys is they had all kinds of baffles ect inside their scoops so you might make one that looks the same but never one that performs as well

Where are you located in the country,  a couple places could make a hood from scratch in fiber glass and or carbon fiber. You would need some serious bracing in the scoop...I can see some serious sagging going on later.are we planning a clone? Vin

Is that the infamous Tri-scoop Hood?

BTW, the MM hood scoop is merely an exageration of the famous 71 style used by most of the Mopar P/S cars.

Actually, if you look closely at pics of the original car it is not a one-piece hood.  The scoop was separate and attached to the hood.  If you really want one, make it out of several pieces of sheetmetal like they did.
