    Some interesting tidbits about Mopars on the recorded Barrett Jackson on Speed Channel  1/1/06

    So far....1969  Barracuda   with original 440 motor.....well documented with tons of receipts with claim to have been the last 440 produced that year.....$61,000

    1969 Black GTX with the black out stripes on hood black with red interior.......$64,000  they called in black velvet....

    Update,  71 Challenger convertible     original 318 car now with a crate motor 425  yellow in color and seemed sharp.      $64,000  I think.......  it was either that or $61,000

    that's great news about the hemi challenger convert clone.  I am glad it went for less than $70k.  That's what I reckon they should be worth.

    What? :eek4: A 69 Z28 Camaro went for well over $100.000. :money:
     They made over 20,000 Z28s in 69 alone. Fairly rare, yes, but WTF  :dunno: Some of us over here are sitting on some SERIOUS gold mines then judging by those standards :woo: :roflsmiley:

    I was pleasantly surprised by that one.They said it had a few small issues but it was somewhat reasonable money.

    Just making sure everyone knows  :dunno: that show is a year old...the new one will be broadcast live on speed from Tues. Jan. 17th thru Sun. 22nd.

    Personally I like watching BJ but... I saw a few cases where a certain car brings this much and then every yahoo that has one or one close to it thinks HIS car is worth that much...PPPPPHHHHTTTT!

    Those commentators sure make a lot of ignorant statements! One of the mopars had the broadcast sheet and the guy says
     "yeah, but you can buy them on ebay" I'd like to see some real documents.
