     :roflsmiley: LMAO!! I was actually running it every couple of weeks till I returned the engine test stand. Sure do want to get it in the car and fire it up!! For now, plum6pak will just keep it dusted and sit and watch the 6pak with a six pack.  :grinyes:

    the total cfm on both set-ups is about 1200 cfm.  3x 400 vs 2 x 600.  but hemi heads have a higher cfm capability.  in a daily drive situation
    the 440+6  is more bang for the buck.

    actually the center carb is a 350 CFM & the outboards are 500 CFM each
     the confusion is that the 2 bbls are rated at 3" of vacuum & 4 bbls at 1.5 " of vacuum so the rating is not the same
     if the 6 pack was rated as a 4bbl it consensus seems to be between 950 - 1000 cfm @ 1.5 " of vacuum

    on a calender i have it says 0-60 in 5.9 seconds for a 1970 440-6 pack cuda... but thats completely stock

    my experience indiactes the opposite , the 6 pack will out run the 4bbl anywhere

    I have an ex father in law who is a top notch mechanic and still is even at age 70.   2nd generation guy who held numerous NHRA records in the 60s.   He notes the six pack will always outrun the 4 bbl application <if> the 5 pack is set up correctly.    Oftentimes backyard boys and shade tree mechanics (like myself he he he) will tinker and play and these out of sync.  Not the easiest thing to rebuild carbs and set them up to function as a unit, where each carb has its use.   When the six pack is set up right by a competent professional it screams.......   and no, I have never had a six pack so I am not tooting my horn.    :working:
