« on: July 26, 2005 - 06:29:24 PM »
* 1974 Dodge Challenger race car.

Car was purchased to convert from a bracket car to an IHRA Stocker. I decided to stay with an A-body and the project was stopped. Previous owner ran low-10's with a W-2 small block/auto. & fiberglass front end.

Car is located in Bunnell, FL, about 1/2 hour north of Daytona.

* Solid floors, firewall, frame, cowl.
* Welded in frame connectors.
* 8-point roll bar tied to frame connectors.
* Extra bars to add roof halo and down to floor by door hinges included.
* 3/4" spring offset kit with SS springs.
* 8 3/4" rear w/spool, Moser axles and 4.86 gear (489 case)
* 6 cyl. torsion bars.
* Very nice chrome trim.
* Interior panels in good shape.
* Headliner is good except for a "V" tear on pass. side in rear.
* Doors are nice with working windows and "crash bars" cut out for weight. VG condition.
* Nice factory tited windows. Windshield has a couple of road debris chips.
* Race bucket seat on aluminum tracks.
* Manual steering.
* Trunk cut out with drop-through aluminum fuel cell box.
* #8 braided line from rear to fender.
* Door/ignition/trunk keys.
* Clear title.

** Major parts needed:
* Hood
* Pass. fender
* Bumpers/brackets
* Dash
* Trunk floor repaired/replaced. Rust-thru primarily along back edge.
* Shocks
* Brakes - Has OEM discs up front and Wilwood discs on rear. But has sat for several years.
* Fuel tank/cell.
* Small rust/bubble areas in some typical E-body locations.

$3,200

See attachment.
More photos available or can be taken for serious inquiries.

* May consider adding and/or removing some parts, depending on what you plan for the car.
* Complete as race car, street/strip, resto, ???
