Dash Speakers for Challenger

I am having a hard time trying to get speakers that will fit in my 3 speaker dash. I'm talking about the small 3 1/2" outboard ones. The factory speakers had very small magnets and all of the new stuff I've seen the magnets are too big to clear the dash frame. Does anyone have any speakers they'd like to get rid of that will fit?

hi..hmm it seems i have seen replacement speakers @ radio shack in a catalog if they arent exact then they sure looked close, i had a 3spkr dash yrs ago didnt realize till later that this was such a rare option

 I just bought a pair of speaker grilles for the 3-speaker dash in my '70 Challnger. I am now in the same position as you.
The grilles I got have the original speakers with them but the cones are trashed. They're just frames. You're right; the magnets are small. I haven't started looking for speakers yet but I will be soon as I want to put the speakers in the dash before I put the dash in the car (full restoration project). It's been awhile since I've shopped for speakers but I remember seeing some not too long ago that I think will work. But electronic products change so much anymore, who knows.

I'll try to update you on what I find..

You guys might want to try custom-autosound.com. I don't know if they have your specific application, but they make all kinds of sound components for classic cars.
