Just make sure they are licensed to do buisiness in your state. Some companies get into states under loop holes in the law, which is legal. But if something happens and there is a problem with them the state's insurance commisioner will have no jurisdiction to go after them.
I know of a couple of companies doing that in Mass. and they have asked if I would represent them. I would not in fear of them going out of business or pulling out of the state leaving my clients with out coverage or worse an unpaid claim. If they are licensed I can file a complaint with the insurance commisioner and they will go after them.
I work with American Collectors, JC Taylor, and Haggerty and have had great success with them. I have only had claims with American Collectors and they have been great paying them.
Hope this helps.

I've had Grundy for 5 years now. My rates haven't changed, and it's an agreed upon value of your car. I just had to furnish pictures.

I've been with Grundy for the last 4 years, never had to file a claim, so I guess they are happy too. I have 25,000 value on the Charger and 18,000 on the Chally and it is less than $300.00 a year, but I'm and old fart with a near perfect driving record, not bragging just fact. I've been in one acident where I was cited, that was in 1969, tropper told me there was no way to avoid the wreck, but he had to cite me for rear ending the car. I have one speeding ticket from somewhere around 1974-75. Do I speed? Very seldom on purpose, unless some x-brand.............nevermind  :roflsmiley: BTW, going to Carlisle and while there don't count, right?  :roflsmiley:
