    Traditionally the Challenger was one of the biggest muscle cars on the market. Good fore me (6'2"-250 lbs and 2 kids)

    Could be true.  No way to know if the comparison photos/overlays are anywhere near the correct dimensions though.  :dunno:  I'm sure there are those on this board that could overlay the same cars and make em look any way they want.  Until I see an unbiased entity do this comparison, it will remain a guess as far as I am concerned.  We shall see.   :cooldancing:   .......................Oldschool

    I agree. The rims on the Challenger must be 26" going off what the other wheels and rims look like on the other rides.  :eek7:

    I heard the new Challenger was going to be built on the Chrysler 300 platform so that would make it a big car.
    This does not make me a HAPPY CAMPER !! If it is that big I am sure that DC will throw on 4 doors. AGAIN !!!

    They won't.  Everything that DCX has done has been financially motivated.  Having 2 large performance 4 door sedans by Dodge is a horrible move, and would cut into the sales of both cars, thereby lessening profit.

    I think I remember reading somewhere in the small amount of existing info that the new Challenger was 6" shorter than the 300 C, but I don't recall any figures on width or height...........? But IMO, bigger is better than a smaller Neon type model.

    who wants a small challenger, not me. I tried getting in one of the neon srt4s it was like trying on pants 4 sizes to small, I want a big challenger with the new 6.1 hemi or larger and while your at it throw in a supercharger. at 6,2 and 250 my 70 challenger fits just right.

    The pics of the Mustangs are not the same scale size, but I would expect the car to have a longer wheel base than the Mustang, so it should handle better. My question is the weight, if the car can get in under what a Mustang is, or about 3200 lbs. the weight of a C6 Corvette. The new Challenger will be serious performance car, and should bein the low 12's in the quarter.
