    fun on my driveway!!

    The other afternoon I had just finished getting my car tuned to where I thought she should be so I was sitting in my garage idling.... well, the fumes got too much so I pulled her out to the bottom of my driveway (I have a very steep driveway!!) and sat there for a while. I got bored and wanted to roast the tires!! So, I drove her 3/4 of the way up the driveway, put her in Neutral, coast down to the bottom, slammed her in drive, and layed on the gas!!! The rear-end broke loose... the tires were smoking and I was happy....... until..............................my jerk-off neighbor who's helped me work on my car came outside and yelled at me to stop....  >:( >:(....... just to pay him back, my friend and I want to go roast on HIS driveway..... but I don't think that would be a good idea.....

    what is the use of having a muscle car if you can not

    flex the muscle once in a while.

    Speaking about fun on my driveway....I can relate.  I am a woman who loves cars, but it has always been about the sleek, cool styles of the 70's era muscle cars...the speed and power was also cool as long as someone else was driving!   My husband and I bought our 70 Challenger RT/SE several years ago, it was in driveable, original condition with a 383.  My husband was working on tuning the engine right after we got it and it was sound really good.  He took it to the end of the driveway and lit it up.  I really wish I had pictures!!  Anyway, he got out of the car and said  "You have got to try this".  After about a minute of hemming and hawing I agreed (of course I wanted to agree right away, but was chicken).  I got in there and did just what he said and sure enough I was doing something I NEVER thought I would do.  When I got to the end of the driveway, I looked back down the way and saw the black streaks that we had created and asked my husband "ok, how do we get rid of that?"  He just laughed and laughed.  You don't get rid of that! ;D

    Ha, ha, ha LOL!

    I did a burnout in the parking lot of my employer one fine Friday after work, when everyone was gone, except me and a co-worker.

    FRIEND'S DRIVEWAY - HE WAS STILL SMELLING THE SMOKE AN HOUR LATER  ;D   NOT BAD FOR A 318 WITH A 2.76 OPEN REAR END HUH ?  ;D

    Yeah... no kidding... he threatened to call them if I didn't stop... I was soooo pissed... oh well... my friends car makes up for it...

    I know it's not a Mopar... but it's still a cool story...

    He's got an 85 Firebird Trans Am... 305 TPI, shift kit, 20 boost, street legal slicks... (this ain't no Grandma car)... anyways, he fires it up every now and then for me (front end is trashed so he can't drive it right now, nice fold in the frame)... he lets it warm up and then pops it in drive with a nice lurch... hits the brakes... taps the gas... smoke show... now he backs up to a main drag in town... the smoke had just cleared one of the times when one of the city's finest drove by.... man, where we scared ****less...
