71 chally convert....final!
« on: January 12, 2006 - 09:41:48 PM »
For those of you who saw the wrecked 71 chally convert on the Copart Website. The prebid ended this moring , it was $2300.00 Bidding went live @ 2p.m. PST. Unfortunately I got busy at the shop and did not have time to watch it. I would put odds on it finshed for more than that ($2300). So now when the old "whats it worth question" comes around..... well you can figure it out from here. :22yikes:
70 Chally R/T Convertible- Yes she's really got a HEMI, no she's not a Charger!

Was it the B5 one at the top of this page that sold for $53,275??? If so then can you give us an insight to what the car originally was??? Can't imagine spending $50k+ for a mangled up car unless it was pretty damn rare.

Killer- the $50k plus was the insured/appraised value. The car was a G code car, but I saw a underhood (what was left of it pic) and the dist was in the front. But carb and intake were removed. Had an msd box up on the firewall in the usuall spot. You saw the pic and saw how DESTROYED it was. It was a bill of sale car -DEAD VIN #- Strongly doubt if anything driveline wise survived. No trim parts Dead Vin, what were they buying?????? Current scrap market around here is $85 a ton. Hmmm what was under the back seat LOL. With all the whats it worth questions on this site, thought it would be an eye-opener
