Throttle Cable
« on: January 11, 2006 - 05:58:47 PM »
Can someone help me please? I can't seem to be able to find a replacement throttle cable for my '70 Challenger SE, auto, 383, 2bbl w/speed control. It measures 22 inches total, has the square plastic firewall fitting, and the parts manual lists it as 3418839.
 Thank you,
Tammy

Mopar lists 2 cables still
 P4529111 & P4529112
the first is listed for the 6 pack & should easily be long enough for you , lots in stock for approx $30 , the second is a Hemi application & should be slightly shorter , again lots available & $45 approx

Thank you so much. I found a new six pack cable on Ebay, so I E-mailed the seller (BIll Kay Chrysler) for the six-pack cable measurement. They said it's 23 inches long. I bought one for 20 dollars, plus 5 for shipping. This forum is great! Thanks again!  :woo:
