While were on the subject I have a couple of questions....
Is there a significant performance advantage to fiberglass over steel due to weight loss (on a `73 small block) ?
I need to replace my passenger side fender, and Im considering fiberglass. Should I therefore replace both fenders, AND the hood with fiberglass parts, or can I get away with just one fender?
And can I just say something about the fiberglass header panel on 72-74's challengers? ***Rant Alert***
WHAT THA H**L?? The one that I pulled out of my car was cracked on the passenger side headlights, and the molding edge was reconstructed out of mud at somepoint. I won a clean one on ebay, and that broke clean in half during shipping (sorted it out). I now have two broken header panels, and Im trying to figure out if they can be either repaired, or I should try again to find a better one on ebay?
Of course every one of them I see up for auction is cracked or broken somehow, and this seems to be the ONLY part that no one is gonna repro.
