« on: January 17, 2006 - 04:26:05 PM »
Ok, got them rusty ol' magnum 14-by-nothings off, now when I put on my new 15xhuge rallyes, how much do I torque the lug nuts to?

Who's got the numbers?   :worshippy

supposed to be around 65 ft pounds.

But last year when I tightned them to 65- the damn things where loose on the drivers side-- 85 ft pounds fixed them!!! lol  ( all right hand threads! )

If you have replaced the old lugs with new I have been told that they have a tendency to back off for the first few hundred miles. It's a good idea to check nuts regulary after a new installation.
