I have used Mark Williams [probably he best axle made ] & Strange  , I have seen Strange twist almost 1/2 turn , this didn`t impress me but the axle didn`t break , not sure how straight it was at that point though & I hate to think how far it twisted to retain a memory of 1/2 turn , I have seen Moser axles & look good not sure how they stand up though

I bought a set of Moser axles for my 'Cuda.   They looked awful nice out of the box.   Stock # of splines though, In a  car with maybe 320 HP, and 3.55 gears, 4 speed.   I'm thinking they'll never get damaged at this or 500HP level either.  They did offer a stronger set than what I bought though.

Just a thought -- you may want to look into a different kind of differential.  Not knocking the stock Sure-grip - it was my intention to use one, but the guys at Randy's ring + pinion convinced me to go with a newer style .  Basically the advances in friction material + design in 30 years means you can get a diff that will take more power and abuse for a similar price.  I went with a Dana Powr-Lok. In a 489 case.

I have used both Summers and Strange on Race Hemi cars.  Never had a problem with either of them.   :cooldancing:  ....Oldschool
