     The other night I was leaving Seattle, and as I get into the lane leading to the on ramp for I-5, an Acura RSX pulls in aggresively behind me, [ quickly and close]. I can't see much but that it has a lower body spoiler kit, rims, and exhaust. It may have been a Type- S , maybe not, with two college age guys in it.
      At the merge, it is congested, so as I approach I let the car ahead gain some reasonable room, the RSX up tight on my bumper.
      With ample room ahead before the merge, throttled up the Cuda in 1st gear up till about 5000 rpm. leaving RSX behind.
     A bit down I-5 , traffic thins out and the RSX pulls up beside- I can see the driver and passenger straining to read the engine callouts on the hood - 'cuda360 -
     I smile and nod foward, spinning my finger like a wheel accelerating.  Passenger eyes get big. Rsx driver holds his water bottle out the sunroof and yells " I'm only drinking water".
     Guess he  figured he needed alcohol courage to tangle that night... ;)

     Yes Chrycho, it's running good. Except the exhaust- it was leaking too much and coming back in thru the trunk[?}.   By the time I got home - a little over an hour- I was lightheaded with a stomach ache. This was driving with the window open and floor vents also.
     I don't mind the light headedness, but the stomach ache was uncool....
      The next day I pulled / cut out the exhaust from the manifolds back.   I wish I had a digital camera so you could see the bungled leaky welds and bad bends. from the previous owner having some 2.5" in there.

      Manifolds to stock 2 1/4"  then to   2 1/2"  then back down to 2" or 2 1/4" for the tips doesn't make much sense either.....

     Going to try to swing the TTI  2.5" manifold back exhaust with 2.5" tips onto the credit card this month-

     Still have that thermoquad you sourced from the Junkyard ?

    EEKK... exhaust poisening... not cool!!!! :o Glad your ok and you found the problem!!! Can't wait to hear some more stories once you get her back together!! ;D ;D

    great story...i have a '91 crate 360 (not stock) thats about to be slapped into my 74 cuda...then ill rule the streets again!!!

     He was drinking a bottle of water - I think he meant, I'm not drinking alcohol ,therefore I'm not drunk enough to believe I have a chance...
