    grill emblem on a 70 challenger

    I was looking at my grill and it appears some of the fins need to be removed to install the Challenger emblem.  Can someone help me?  I think that is the correct emblen.  It has a thick section between the pins that would fit inbetween the horizontal fins but the verticle fins would need to be removed?????  Help!!!!!!

    The emblem just bolts in, no fins have to be removed. The grille emblem should be thicker at the bottom like this one....

    Can you take a pic of the back of the emblem?  My grill has no fins removed at all.

    I don't have the emblem here at school and I can't get ebay here so I can't see the picture of your emblem.  Is the 71-74 different maybe I have the wrong year emblem?

    Yeah, that's like mine. It should fit between the fins...no problem.

    Can you show a picture of the back?  The one I have has a 1/2 thick piece about a 1/2 in wide between the pegs?

    the emblem with the cross bar between the pins is a 72 -74 emblem , the 70 emblem doesn`t have the crossbar / brace between the pins
