Cool another Italy veteran. I went there this past fall with my wife for my honeymoon. Absolutely awesome. The food is to die for, but very expensive. Those 4 course meals fill you up and suck the euros though. We found that a liter of wine and split a pizza with some antipasti can go along way.
To bad you couldn't spend time in Florence, that city was our favorite.
