does any body know of anyway  to eliminate the ballast reistor from the ignition .I want to clean up the fire wall for a clean look.

GM uses a resister wire in the circuit

Run an MSD ignition and lose the ballast resistor. Not used with their HEI. Then use a spade terminal jumper (radio shack) between ballast resistor terms, seal weathertight, and tuck away hidden in engine harness wire routing. Now to hide the MSD box. Can go inside (behind glove box) or under battery, or ??
