Will a gas tank from a 74 Cuda fit on a 70?

Yes but you may have a few extra vents on the 74 tand as they had more emmissions sh!t on the 74!  The tank should vent nicely though . . .

 :iagree:

I believe 70 was the only year that didn't have some kind of venting.

OK, thanks. I'm going to pull one of them off of one of my 74's before I get rid of them for the 70.

The fit shouldn't be a problem like 4C mentioned, there might be extra tubes for vents, and vapor return lines. You can just plug them up I would think.

I put a 73 challenger tank in a 71 Challenger about 20 years ago. All I did was plug the lines and everything hooked up and fit the same for both years. The 71 Challenger still has the same 73 tank in it after all these years with no problems.
