Lower dash question about the finish
« on: January 25, 2006 - 02:44:24 PM »
There is a part of the lower dash that has a hammered or slightly texturized finish.   One such place is the dash where the A/C switch unit fits thru and the another location is say where the fan switch housing is.   My question is what are people using to replicate this texturized or hammered look.   Its a satin finish I know.  I have been in stores that sell both the hammered look finish in a can as well as the texturized finish.    I wish to replicate this as close as possible.    I am thinking the hammered finish looks a little closer, but I am not sure.   The texturized finish doesnt look like its quite right but that just going by the look on the cap of the can.     I am interested in hearing from those who have also encountered this problem.    Thanks  Kevin
