Price Check - '69 GTX 440, 4 sp...

Hey, I'm back!  Here's another Mopar that I've been thinking about - GTX, think it's a '69, red with red interior, black stripes.  Believe it's got the original numbers matching engine, which I believe to be a 4bbl 440.  Backed by a 4 sp.  Don't know if it's got a Dana or 8.75.  I thought it was a 6 pack car, but only looks like one carb under there, and I guess that's not the 6 pack hood on it, either.  Anyway, think the guy wants $35k for it.  Didn't take a real good look at the car, but believe it to be a solid #2+ car - not show condition, but pretty close, and needs nothing.

Anyway, I was browsing evil-bay when I saw a '69 GTX that was a no-sale at over $100k, so I figured I should check this one out a little better.

All 440-4 speed cars came from Ma Mopar with Dana 60's. No factory 1969 440-6 GTX's, the 440-6 cars were A-12 option lift off hood cars in 69 (roadrunners and super bees only)

If thats a #'s real GTX, in what appears to be #2 condition for 35K, thats a pretty good deal. Not tremendous, but pretty good. Especially if it's a factory 4 speed car. Check the fender tag and see if he has a broadcast sheet for it. If you dont know the codes, PM me and I'll decode them for you.  Important #'s are D21 = 4 speed  and
E86 = 440-4 bbl   Vin on a 69 440 GTX should be  RS23L9Bxxxxxx

You cant put any stock on the no-sale $$ numbers on e-bay....shills are everywhere!

Thanks for the info.  Will have to take a closer look at her, but need to unload a car or two before I can make a move...
