Hockey stripes
« on: February 04, 2006 - 12:14:09 PM »
Hi all,

My 'cuda doesn't have a hockey stripe at present, but if it was fitted with them originally I might put them back on. Can I find out from the fender tag whether my car was supplied with them from new?

Car is 1970 383 'cuda by the way - I've heard mention of a 'hockey stripe delete' code, were all 'cudas supplied with the stripes as standard if this wasn't specified?

Thanks for any help you can provide...

you should have a VXX coe near the top of the tag for the stripes

Thanks CP; I've had a quick check, but no Vxx code. The only thing I have which I'm not sure about on the fender tag is M88; decodes as 'quarter panel tape treatment'. Do you know what was this for?
