Hi guys,

Hope I can pick your mind on this.  On the Consumer Information Sheet for my '72 Challenger Rallye, it says, "Challenger R/T".

Do all the '72-'74 Challenger Rallyes say "R/T" on thier sheet or do some say "Rallye"?  My car schedualed build date was 8/17/71.

Thanks in advance for any info.

I.ve seen 72 rallyes with both the JS and JH codes. I'd like alittle more info on this too.

As i understand it the R/T model was dropped and replaced by the Rallye model beginning in 72; JS was dropped beginning in 73 and replaced by JH; so i'm guessing it took some time before all the various documentation showed that a 72 JS Challenger was a Rallye instead of an R/T...i think, but i've been wrong before though ::) :2cents:

 Thanks for the info, just sort of was wondering about this.  So I guess the later Rallye cars had "Rallye" on there print out instead of "R/T".

I believe Rusty/SE is correct, that starting '73 somewhere all the Challengers were JH cars and the Rallye package became an option.

If someone has a '73 or'74 Rallye with the Consumer Information Sheet it would be nice if you could post a pic.

Thanks!
