Hi guys,
Here's a reply I got as far as asking them what's the difference between the Final Cut vs The Limited Edition DVD that's out and also if the DVD would be available at retail stores, ie Best Buy, etc...
"Hello Philip, Thanks for your interest in Finish Line. The Differance
between the final cut and the Limited Edition is that some scenes
were edited a little different some footage was added to the final
cut here and there which made the final cut about 2 mins longer over
all. The Limited Edition Has a Special Thanks note at the begining to
all the Car Clubs and People who brought there cars out for filming
of Finish Line. It also has 3 music videos after the end credits of
Drag Racing and cruiseing footage, the Final Cut does not have this.
But my personal preferance is the Final Cut. There were only 1000
copies of the Limited Edition produced. I believe lemon twyst still
has a view and they list them on ebay once in a while. Lemon twyst
also sales them at car shows. Once they are gone thats it we will not
replicate the Limited Edition. The Limited Edition version was the
premier version that was shown in select Theaters In Nevada and
California prior to completing the Final Cut. AS far as distribution
goes Finish Line is an independent film that was done by car fanatics
for car fanatics and because it was not produced in Hollywood with
big name stars its tough to break in. But slowly but surely the word
is spreading across the country and even over seas. If have a chance
pick up a copie of Muscle Car Enthusiest magazine March 06 issue
Finish Line will have a press release in it. Right now it is only
available directly from Memory Lane Films, Lemon twyst (ebay), or The
Mopar Shop or E-body Parts and Restorations. Memory Lane only accepts
personal checks or money orders by mail. E-Body Parts/Mopar Shop will
accept credit card by phone and Pay Pal is available on e-bay. I hope
this helps. Thanks George."
