« on: January 08, 2006 - 02:36:17 PM »
due to recently discovered crunch and rust thru, i am looking for the right half of a firewall and cowl . Thought it was repairable but noooooooooooooo to thin to weld or braze just my luck.  Anyone near MD know of one closeby? :working:

Sorry I don't.  :-[

There is a junk yard here called Crazy Rays. I doubt they have an E-Body, but you never know.  :dunno:

Post a pic showing the area that is bad.   I also have a firewall or two that may do the trick.....

what im looking for is the entire half section from the hump to the side wall that would include the top around the airvent . I believe the metal is a little to gone to attempt a weld fill,  and im not sure about using a fiberglass mesh filler type material.  hope these post.

I too have a rusted up firewall, around the brake booster etc.  Don't want to hijack this thread, so when everyone is finished, I'd like to post my needs for a replacement.

I believe that a 71-74 b-body cowl will work as well...
