He actually dosen't personally do them, he verifies the tag is legit then sends it out to have it physically stamped, a few years ago his cost was like $100.00. I understand there is another guy who can do it for less money. But Galen is  widly accepted as the Mopar guru so his signature on a documented form may be desireable

Yeah it's still $100.00 if you have ALL the documentation to back it up.  Can go to $210.00 depending on what you have for documentation.

Definately have it redone, no harm since it'll be exactly like the original.  I'd keep the original in a safe place so you can always produce the car's bona fides.

We went here instead... www.datatags.com  It was a lot faster (3 weeks) and a lot cheaper (under $50).  They still require documentation, but cut out the middle man...Galen.

I will second that motion on DataTags.com.  Sent them a digital photo of my rusty tag and in 5 days had a exact duplicate in my hands.  All that for $50....and it looks great to boot.

He's made me some "special" tags...my 71 hemi cuda clone had tags that had all the added options on the car, the build date was my birthday, and on each tag where the SO number would be, he wrote "CLONE".

Good guy and makes a first rate product with great service.

Datatags did mine for me. Lots of questions to answer, but I liked the end result.  Galen = $$$  :22yikes:  :22yikes:  :22yikes:

Yip, go to data-tags.
Galen is a plonker.....many stories of him taking money and not giving the customer any product.
Even after a year or so people are still trying to get their money back (given up on actually getting the product).

I hate him.  :swear:
